Everyone knows NBA superstar Kevin Durant is a massive Washington Commanders fan. Durant sometimes attends training camp and will attend a game in the fall if his schedule allows. Sunday was a busy day for Durant. While appearing live at Fanatics Fest in New York City, Durant learned he was being traded to the Houston Rockets.
Don't feel bad for Durant. He wanted to leave Phoenix and now looks to join a young Rockets team in his quest to win another NBA championship.
In addition to Durant learning of his trade to Houston, he had some time to talk Commanders with Kay Adams. And, Durant made a bold prediction about a player his favorite NFL franchise will add in the next two years. Durant told Adams that Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons will eventually play for Washington, perhaps within the next two years.
Parsons was standing nearby and joined in on the interview.
"I think he will be a Commander at some point in his career," Durant told Adams. "I would say two years," he responded when Adams asked when.
How did Parsons respond?
"Yo, I only rock with Dan Quinn," he said.

Kay Adams: "When?"
Durant: "I will say two years from now."
Parsons: "Yo, I only rock with Dan Quinn."
Durant: "Exactly. That's all ya need to rock with!"

"Exactly, that's all you need to rock with," Durant said, referring to the Commanders' head coach, who was Parsons' defensive coordinator in Dallas for the first three seasons of his NFL career. Parsons has stated multiple times since Quinn left for Washington how much the coach meant to him and how they still talk.
Durant's "prediction" comes at an interesting time for Parsons. He's entering the final year of his rookie contract, and the Cowboys have missed multiple opportunities to extend him at a team-friendlier rate. However, the price has gone up considerably over the past year due to extensions for Myles Garrett, Danielle Hunter and Maxx Crosby. Still, Dallas isn't letting Parsons go anywhere, much less Washington. Durant is just having some fun here.
